I have strong feelings about the science fair. But this year actually wasn't so bad because Jaxon chose to do something that only required a small fraction of our help. His project was in Computer Science and he chose to create a website for parents to fill out that youth parental permission form, instead of relying on paper form.
He spent hours on this, and enjoyed it so much that I rarely had to remind him to work on it.
And all his work paid off! The day before Thanksgiving break they announced he won Grand Champion of the science fair and will go on to district in a couple months. We are so proud of him.
