This and That

Jaxon has been reading so well. He keeps track of how many books he reads and after he reaches 100 he can get a reward. He's also reading for family scriptures every night. So much so that he'll occasionally slip a little "vosotros" (biblical speech) in his everyday language. It's kinda funny. :)

Spring is here! We've enjoyed playtime outside with cousins. My sister and I seem to be on the same "baby schedule ", so it's been great for each kid to have a cousin their same age that they can enjoy playing with.

We originally got a shopping cart for Violet for Christmas, but my parents unknowingly also got her one, so we ended up giving ours to Jaxon. He actually really enjoys it, and best of all, no fighting over shopping carts. ;)

Still loving her "perro". Can't be without it for more than a few minutes, and definitely can't sleep without it.

We took a trip to DI for the sole purpose of letting Jaxon loose with the electronics. He now wants a typewriter for his birthday. Typical Jaxon.

Ginger's Blessing Day

Sunday was such a special, wonderful day for our family as Ginger was blessed in our ward.

Travis gave her such a beautiful, thoughtful, blessing, and I'm so grateful for him and all those who participated in the progressively-getting-larger circle. :) (Brad is the only one missing from the photo as he couldn't make the brunch.)
She was NOT blessed in that, more on that in a bit...
Jaxon even bore his testimony for the first time in sacrament meeting all by himself. He wasn't scared a bit. :) I had to hear it from the mother's room because right after Ginger was blessed she had her worst blowout ever to date (hence the change of wardrobe). Of course. I'm just glad it happened right after the blessing and not before!

We had a brunch at the Anderson's after the meeting where we ate and visited with family for hours. It was such a great day.

We certainly love our calm, sweet Ginger. And I'm so comforted in the fact that she will always have so much family who will love and support her throughout her life.
