Happy Half-Birthday!

Jaxon turned six months old on Friday. We've had him for half a year! We celebrated this occasion with a special cake I made at an MBASA activity (MBA Spouse Association). Since he can't eat cake yet, I thought making it represent the food he loves the most would suffice (and, no, it's not beef).

We love having this little boy in our home!

Guess Who's Teething?

This little guy got his first tooth Monday. At least, that's when we first noticed it. Jaxon will be six months next Friday.

It was such a shock because he hadn't been fussy at all to that point (he's been fussy since then...). We thought it was about time to give him some solids. Bananas are always a safe bet. :)

He seemed to like it and was even trying to reach for more! Yum, yum! We can't wait to try other foods.

Last week, I got together with other MBA spouses and we learned how to make our own baby food. It was great! It feels good to be able to make Jaxon's food myself, instead of from the store-bought jars!
